Mamoru Sato
Honolulu, Hawaii

Born in 1937 in El Paso, Texas.  He has a MFA, 1965, and a BA, 1963, from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  He is a professor of sculpture at the University of Hawaii.  In 2000 Sato completed a 16-foot cast concrete and bronze sculpture for the Rev. Benjamin Parker elementary School in Kane'ohe and in 1996 an 18-foot black terrazzo sulpture for Pearl City Cultural Center.
