1994, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Akamine received the Native Arts Research Fellowship
from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American
Indian, New York, 1999, and a Pilchuck Partners
Scholarship to Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood,
Washington, 1995. |
