Fenella Davies began her career as a designer and
maker of soft toys in 1966. In the early
1980s, she started quilting and quickly gained
recognition for her talents. Since then, her
work has remained highly abstract and heavily
influenced by tribal and ethnic designs seen during
her travels in India and Australia. Bhopal,
inspired by the tragic industrial accident in
Bhopal, India, is one of her few quilts with a
message. |
